Is returning from a near 2-year hiatus (and this, in our 20th year of existence on this world!!!) to entertain the revelers at Chicken John’s
For those not in the know, this is an all fun camp-out up on Lake Lodoga, a few hours outside of San Francisco, lasting from June 29th to July 5th with live performances Thurs., Fri., and Sat. (Rubes on Sat.) During the rest of the time camping, swimming, and the building of floating art, sometimes called “boats”, is encouraged and highly enjoyable!

Camp Tipsy is an annual rotten boat building contest and camp-out held at East Park Reservoir in Colusa County, California organized by the San Francisco Institute of Possibility.
Now in its 8th year, Camp Tipsy is a fun and family-friendly event. Participants build “boats” out of junk and enjoy boating and floating in the reservoir (or as we call it, Lake Lodoga). On Saturday at 2pm your wonderful, whimsical, stupid boats compete for valueless prizes in The Boat Contest.
It’s a darn good time and , yes, this lake (controlled reservoir ) is somehow currently at %94 capacity and we have exclusive permission to romp it up therein, so no drought-time shame from staying at home and running our garden hoses for sprinkler and kiddy pool games!
