Pianos in the Park

It’s that time of year again. Another glorious installment of the Sunset Piano project’s Flower Piano, 12 days of 12 pianos laid out for all in beautiful San Francisco’s Botanical Gardens. Last year’s event was indeed a glory to behold!

I will be playing and singing again for this Saturday’s (July 9th) openingnoon-2pm showcase slot featuring 12 simultaneous performances on the pianos all throughout the gardens. I also have the extreme pleasure this year of being joined by the incomparable voice and talents of Robin Coomer, who’s coming down outa the woods to join me for the day!

An added boon, especially for folks taking in the whole event and unable to see it all, is that Robin and I will be holding court later that eve at Martuni’s piano lounge for a 6pm happy hour set and Flower Piano after-party, with hopes for folks and fingers joining us there as well!

Enjoy an exquisite afternoon in the park, then grab a bite and head to Martuni’s for cold cocktails and warm tunes.  It will be a day of San Francisco’s performers community at it’s best!
